man

man is used to access system manuals.

Usage

• man [options] [command]

Options

man has options for ease of searching through man pages. It can be used without any options to display the entire manual page.

• [n] display section n of a man page.
• -f displays the section in which the command is present.
• -a displays all of the man pages in succession.
• -k search using regex
• -w returns the file path of the man page of the command
• -I case sensitive option
